Why is this migration happening?
We are migrating to a new SSO solution to enhance security, provide more robust integration capabilities, and improve the overall user experience.
When will this migration take place?
You will receive a notification when your organization is ready to migrate. Then migration will take place upon your next login.
Will there be any disruption to services during the migration?
While you may notice a slight change to the login interface. We don't expect any disruptions during this migration.
Will my login credentials change?
Your existing username and password will remain the same.
What if I experience issues with my account after the migration?
If you experience any issues, our Customer Experience team is available to help troubleshoot.

Will there be any changes to the user interface?
Our team has been working to make the migration experience as smooth as possible. During the transition, you may notice slight modifications to the login screen.
How will the new SSO improve security?
SSO layered with multi-factor authentication (MFA) provides useful security controls. This reduces the risk of password-related hacks. Using one set of credentials minimizes the number of attack vectors. There’s no need to remember and manage multiple passwords.
Will there be new security features available to me?
As well as the inherent improvement of an SSO system, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be available once migrated.
Will the new SSO solution Support Custom Identity Providers (IdPs)?
Yes. CivicPlus SSO supports Custom IdPs such as Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), and Okta. You can find more information on our Custom IdP Integration Page.
