Meta Business Suite is a central space to manage your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts all from one place. It is accessed by your personal Facebook Profile, the same account that manages your Pages on Facebook.com.
Important Note
- You must be a Business Administrator on a Business Suite to connect both Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts in the archive.
- For Instagram accounts to fully associate with a Page, a Business Administrator must have both assets under their Meta Business.

Is my Facebook Page Already Owned by a Business Suite?
Most Pages will already be owned by a Business Suite. To know for sure follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Page Access Portion of your Page
- Find the Business Account Access section listed below the Page roles and note the name/photo of the Meta Business Suite.
Am I Already a Part of a Meta Business Suite?
- Navigate to the Facebook Business Page
- From the white menu bar on the left side, click the dropdown menu.
- A Meta Business will show in bold and have a cog wheel/gear icon on the right. Assets (Facebook Pages and associated Instagram Accounts) owned by the Business will then show indented underneath the Business name.
- Check your Business Suite Role by navigating to the People tab. If you are not a Business Admin, ask a co-worker who is to make you one.
- You can add additional people to your business through the Add People button. We recommend your Business have at least 2 Business Admins.
I Have a Meta Business, But Don't see my Facebook Page or Instagram Under It.
Facebook Pages will almost always have a Business that owns them.
Start first with fellow employees who have Full Access/Page Admin rights. They should perform the checks above to see if they are part of the Business that owns the Page.
Often, the person who first created the Page is the Business Admin. Even if they are no longer a Page Admin/have Full Access, or if they no longer work for your agency. It is worth asking them to check on the Facebook Business page, should you be able to reach them; as it will be the fastest resolution.
If you cannot find the person or people who have access to the Business that owns a Page, only Facebook support can assist. See this Facebook Support article for the next steps.
Add a Facebook Page or Instagram to your Business
- From the Business Settings (cog wheel/great icon) of your Business Page, select Business Assets.
- Click the blue add assets button in the top right and follow the prompts to add.
- For Instagram accounts, you must enter the account login
If an account is already owned by another Business, a Business Admin from that Business will need to approve the asset transfer. If you are a Business Admin on both and are consolidating assets under one Business (recommended), this happens automatically.
Creating a New Business Manager
To start your business account, go to Business Manager Overview and select Create Account. It’s best to invite all your colleagues who manage the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts.
