Connecting a Twitter Account to the Archive

This article will go over how to connect a Twitter Account to the archive for Account Owners and System Administrators. 

Steps for Account Owners

1. Locate your Initial email with the subject line of ArchiveSocial: action required - connect your social media accounts. 
   
   
2. Click the custom link within that email
   
3. Click Connect Twitter 
   
   

Steps for System Administrators

1. Sign in to your Archive 
2. Navigate to the Configure tab 
   
3. Next to the appropriate Account Owner Click Connect Accounts 
   
   
4. Click Connect Twitter 
   
   

Connect Twitter

1. Use your login information to allow Social Media Archive (Formerly ArchiveSocial) to access your account. 
   
   
   Note: Connections will not work with Google logins for Twitter. You must use your username/email and password combination.
2. Log in to your Twitter account 
   
   
   Note: If you use two-factor authentication, you may need to enter your code on the next screen and click Authorize App again.
