All Company Page Post Authors Must Authorize Connection to the Archive
Unlike Facebook, for which a single Page Admin can authorize capture of all content on a Page, the API (Application Program Interface) for LinkedIn limits capture to content produced by the user who has authorized the ArchiveSocial application.
In other words, if you have more than one user posting content to your LinkedIn Company Page, each user must authorize the Company Page connection via their LinkedIn Profile. The user’s LinkedIn Profile is solely used to authorize access to the Company Page content and will not be captured unless selected to archive.
LinkedIn Capture Cannot Backtrack
We can only archive content occurring with an active connection and cannot retroactively capture any past activity that occurred before an account was connected, or while it was disconnected.
LinkedIn Record Capture Takes Up to 6 to 8 Hours
LinkedIn records capture at a much slower pace than other networks. A new record can take up to 6 to 8 hours to capture in the archive.
Posts Made Through Third-Party Social Media Management Tools Cannot Be Guaranteed to Capture
Using a third-party application (such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Sprout Social) to schedule and post to a LinkedIn Page is not supported by our compliance partner, Erado. Thus, posts made through third-party tools are not guaranteed to be captured in the archive.
