Quick Search
Quick Search allows you to search the archive by keyword(s) or keyword phrase. By default, the search will return results in which the text content contains any of the keywords you enter. The search is not case-sensitive. You can also:
- Use quotes to match an entire phrase. For example, enter "animal shelter" (with quotes) to find only records that contain the entire phrase, in that order.
- Use asterisks to perform a wildcard search
Advanced Search
The advanced search tab allows you to search by date range, content types, scope, or search terms.
Date Range
You can select a predefined date range or specify a custom range from the dropdown. Bookends are included. The Search only content that was posted within this date range checkbox allows you to search only for records that originate during the specified date range. The archive captures edited versions of records, which can sometimes pull in older records not pertinent to your search if they have had their metadata updated during the date range you select.
