In early 2025, Social Media Archiving migrated its users to CivicPlus' Single Sign-On solution. Learn more about the migration by reading our Social Media Archiving Single-Sign On Frequently Asked Questions.
Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that allows users to securely log in to multiple applications and websites using just one set of credentials.
Logging In Using CivicPlus Single Sign-On
- Enter the email address you use to log in to your CivicPlus account on the archive login screen
- If you were already logged in to your CivicPlus account, you will be automatically redirected to your Social Media Archiving dashboard
- If you were not already logged in to your CivicPlus account, you will be redirected to your CivicPlus account sign-in page
- Upon logging in to your CivicPlus account, you will be redirected to your Social Media Archiving dashboard
- If you do not have a CivicPlus account yet, you will need to sign up for one
Note: We strongly discourage use of the 'Use Another Service to Create an Account,' as this could associate your CivicPlus account with a personal email address. You need to set up your CivicPlus account with the same email address you're using for your Social Media Archiving account.
User Management
To log in, a user must have both a Social Media Archiving (formerly ArchiveSocial) account and a CivicPlus account. Their email address must be the same in both places.
